Mudhalvan Foundation is as an young NGO working towards empowering Women, Girl child, Youth of the nation, Safeguarding our precious environment.
Mudhalvan Foundation was started by a group of committed, highly motivated youth in 2022 inspired by various schemes & projects by the Central & State Governments. Each of the volunteers of the Foundation is excelling in his / own professional career while taking active part in the NGO.
In 2022 Mudhalvan Foundation commenced its activities by opening savings accounts to more than 50 girls under the Sukanya Samriddhi Savings Scheme of Govt of India. Today, accounts for more than XXX girl children were opened under the scheme thanks to the support from the Indian Postal Department.
A computer training centre spanning an area of 1500 sft was started, training youth in various computer applications & softwares.
Recently Mudhalvan Foundation successfully planted more than 100 saplings in Selayur area to increase the green cover in the neighborhood.
Mudhalvan Foundation is partnering with corporates to generate support through their CSR funds. Already few beneficiaries have been identified and the financial support is being extended to them.
MoU has been signed with ABCDEF College for partnership to carry-out activities like environment protection (by planting saplings / plants and by cleaning neighbourhood), imparting computer training to economically weak students of the college. Activities will be commencing soon.

Future activities planned

Identifying youth excelling in various fields, recognize their achievements and extend support to them.
Conducting computer training courses to deserving and economically weak youth at the Centre in Medavakkam Chennai
Train women on various professions like Tailoring and other activities, help them obtain loans to make them Financially independent.
Conduct Jab fairs by bringing many corporates at one place and creating opportunity for unemployed youth to get placed.
Extend the support to more girls by covering 5000 girls under the Sukanya Samridhi Account Scheme started by the Government of India.
